At the Planning & Development Committee Meeting on the 1st July 2008, Council resolved to place the Boggabri Caravan Park Business Plan & Plan of Management on public exhibition for a period of 28 days for public comment.

This is an opportunity to have a chat with a state politician about life in rural and regional areas.

The Australian Cotton Centre has been asked to host the NAB 150 Tour and Today Show weather crosses on Thursday 27 March 08. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Narrabri, promote our community spirit, support our valuable and unique agricultural industries and profile our town’s location and heritage. The NAB 150 Tour is a nationwide tour commemorating the bank’s 150th anniversary, allowing NAB to give back to the communities that have been a part of the past 150 years. The NAB 150 Tour will be visiting Narrabri on Thursday 27 March 2008 and the Today Show weather crosses will be filming LIVE from the NAB 150 Tour truck and the Australian Cotton Centre. Steve Jacobs and the crew will be filming the live weather crosses from 6.00am until 8.40am. The community broadcasts will start from 7am sharp - 8.30am .
A "free" sausage sizzle breakfast will be available from 6.30am.
